No-Makeup MakeUp: the new beauty trend.

The new beauty trend that says to the world (or your couple hundred Instagram followers) ‘I woke up like this’, takes the bare face no-makeup make-up to a new level. It’s all about looking as natural as possible, yet using the right products to achieve it. It’s clear that big make-up companies would never loose the chance to sale, and if smoothie-lovers and runners are changing the way we feel about our bodies, the face would go along with it too. Brands like Marc Jacobs and Givenchy sent their models through the runway with a look that looked like there was no make-up whatsoever. Movie stars arrived at the Red Carpet looking like they had nothing to hide. It comes with an attitude of elf-awareness and confidence. For the movie Wild, director Jean-Marc Vallee made sure Reese Witherspoon had no makeup at all, giving away all vanity. So if you’re planning to go for it, make sure to have all the right equipment for it!

Man-Up Monday: Jason Brown Goes Gold

Highland Park’s Jason Brown took home the gold from Sunday’s Senior National Men’s Figure Skating Championship.  He is the youngest man to ever win this title, and is also the youngest US men’s olympic singles skater since 1976.  While Brown took the title, Adam Rippon received silver and Josh Farris received bronze, completing the US Men’s Championship roster.  In an interview with NBC Sports, Brown explains that this win is “overwhelming.”  He took home the silver medal in the 2014 Winter Olympics. Jason is recognizable with his long brown locks, which can often be seen in the ever-so-trendy “man bun.” Congrats, Jason!

“It Girl” Hair: The Wavy Bob Cut

Celebrities, fashion gurus and even a majority of the mainstream population have been trading their beloved long locks for 2015′s “It” hairstyle: The wavy bob cut.  Often seen with a cascading ombre color, a short wavy bob is a great way to accentuate your jaw-line and frame your face.  Accessorize your adorable new do with sparkly pins and headbands.  A great way to achieve the perfect waves is to let your hair air-dry in loose braids or twist hair around your fingers while blow drying.  If you’re looking for the perfect change for 2015, give your locks a generous cut… enjoy!

New Accessories New favorite Trends To Look Out For: Pre fall 2015

Its  great to see new trends coming out in the  market to look forward for the fall season this coming year.I really love seeing the creative style trend that makes it unique and different. The trend that im enjoying the most and exicted to buy is a velvent heel with crystal  brooch pumps and also a satin and velvet ankle strap sandals with a assymmetrical bow atwood have been seen alot and are favored in pre fall collections.Another is Brain Atwood really changing up the boot with a chunkier heel and over the knee  style which is very chic to wear on a day to work or school.Another trend which is oh so wonderful is how the collection of  Alexandre Birman made shoes with a seventies inspired mood with rich colors.I found very cute that he paired his signature style of python with colorblocking suedes and chunky heels and a fridge detail. On the jewelry side Eddie Borgo made beautiful pieces that were inspired by the Bert Stern image of Marilyn Moore seductively playing with pearls which you see in  all of his pieces which are so cute love it.Another great trend on the band side is the designer Dee Ocleppo she  really went for it in this season with putting leathers featuring hand painting. Also how beautiful made the rose gold croc finish leather Another amazing purse created by Mark Cross it appeared in Hitchcock’s “Rear Window”  that was seen for pre fall with this two styles as  a leather and  18 caret gold plated brass. Finally a cool trend was each season Charlotte Olympia that was made for the latest mid-century art made very creative Hope you enjoyed hearing about  these new styles that will be emerging soon xoxoxo!!

Man Up Monday: Best of Men’s Fashion Week FW15

This has been an amazing season for menswear along the runways of the fashion capitals. There seemed to be a great deal of courage in most collections, bringing a lot of accessories, prints and styles that have never been shown for menswear. There was a big influence of military-wear and a seventies comeback with flowers, texture and turtlenecks. Topman was ever so obviously inspired by Bowie, and Dolce & Gabbana presented like royalty. There was too much to see, but here are some of our favourites:

Burberry Prorsum

Alexander McQueen

Dolce & Gabbana
