This Spring I have been seeing more feminine clothes with lace details and I am in love!! Lace is so girly and adds great flair to simple LBD’s (little black dresses) or blouses. “Haven’t we seen that before?…”

Very much like our typical Friday nights, celebrities also have to worry about their fellow friends wearing the exact same outfit. 2012 has been a year of not just two people stumbling upon the same wardrobe, but three and even four at the same time! Some just showed up to the party a bit late, wearing garments that had been seen years before. It’s a tough business, entertainment. Who are your personal favorites from each category?

Up and coming rapper Azealia Banks released the album cover to her first album “1991″ recently. The cover reminds me of Grace Jones and her unique look, but with Azealia’s personal spin on things. I’ve been following Azealia’s status in the music and fashion world since earlier this year. So far she’s been featured in V magazine, Dossier Journal, Love magazine, Elle. Karl Lagerfeld has taken a personal interest in her and she has performed live at one of his house parties earlier this year. Banks has this uniqueness about her that comes off in her music and her personal style. I can’t wait to see what she’s going to do next.

Well look who finagled her way onto the pages of another glossy mag. None other than Kim Kardashian herself will grace the covers of Vogue Italia. She may not be up to Anna Wintour’s standards, but she sits well with Vogues’ Italian counterparts. Maybe the Italians don’t have the E! network, because I don’t know if I can stand to see anymore of Kim. Check out the pic she posted to her Instagram page sporting a short choppy do’! Whatever your political choice, the power of women is growing across the country. I was honored to be invited as a guest at the 11th Annual Ultimate Women’s Power Lunch which was hosted by Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky. The list of over 100 hosts of women was indeed impressive. Even our Governor was at the event supporting all the beautiful women who attended which was numbered around 2500. One of the woman speakers included United States Senator Amy Klobuchar from Minnesoto who is a name to be remembered as she will certainy run for VP or President one day. It will be so exciting to call a woman Madame President one day soon in our great country.

Women’s pantsuits are making a big comeback this Spring, and they’re not your typical shoulder pads 80′s pantsuits either, this year’s suits have a twist to them, ready? A fashion-forward Chicagoan, Virgil is expanding his creativity all over the world.
