Björk Retrospective at the MoMA

One of the biggest performers in the music business and most uncommonly stylish people of the 20th Century deserves no introduction and yet has a claim for a retrospective on her entire career. The Museum of Modern Art of New York has taken the task to create a multimedia exhibit of her 20 years in the industry, opening March 8. The show will carry pieces from the many artists she has collaborated with over the years, like Alexander McQueen, Iris van Harpen, Nick Knight, and the unforgettable Marjan Pejoski 2001 Swan dress; however presenting her music as the centrepiece and making an experience of it. Björk created “Black Lake,” a ten minute music experience especially for the museum that will now form part of her latest album, Vulnicura. This will ceirtanly be something not to be missed!
