Isabel & Ruben Toledo Come to Chicago
The Fashion Resource Center at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago has always celebrated extreme innovation in fashion. With its unique collection of 20th and 21st century designer pieces, it has grown to be a valuable source in Chicago. To kick-off its 25th anniversary, SAIC will be hosting one of the most powerful duos in the fashion industry, Isabel and Ruben Toledo. They will give an informative lecture, covering their individual skills in design and illustration. The event will take place on October 27th at 6pm (to purchase tickets, click here). - Isabel Toledo’s name attained much fame after she designed Michelle Obama’s inauguration day dress.
- Ruben Toledo has done illustrations for many fashion publications, with one of his most famed being the Nordstrom fashion catalog.
