Fox News Chicago: White After Labor Day

On today’s fashion segment on Good Day Chicago, Barbara showed viewers how to wear white after Labor Day. Wearing white after labor day is generally a no no, because in the old days white got dirty easily in the winter. Now it’s totally fine to pull that white faux fur coat out of the closet.

Barbara showed 4 models, each wearing something from Topshop, Macy’s, or Nordstrom. The model on the far left, Marissa, is wearing a Derek Lam sweater for $475, Mother paisley print jeans for $220, and a Michael Kors vest for $650. The Ugg boot she’s holding is $224.95, and all of these items can be found at Nordstrom. The model next to Marissa, Germaine, is wearing a long white coat with black trim for $158, a burgundy printed scarf for $36, and a black studded clutch for $76 all found at Topshop. Barbara is wearing a white Topshop blazer for $70 and plaid skirt for $225. Her makeup was done by Joni Laree of J’Laree Artistry. The model next to Barbara, Sandra, is wearing a Laundry white and black dress for $148 and a Via Spiga white coat for $400 all found at Macy’s. The last model, Kim, is wearing a white Topshop V-neck dress for $100.
