In or Out: Large Sunglasses

Large black sunglasses seem like they would always be fashionable but after giving it some thought, who would want to wear giant pirate patches that cover their entire face? Personally, I believe sunglasses should be used to highlight your features, not cover them. What do you think; are large sunglasses in or out?
