Cannes Film Festival 2012

The Cannes Film Festival is an event that’s held every year where new films from around the world are viewed and some films compete for awards. This festival is one of the most prestigious film festivals around and is being held right now, in Cannes, France, from the 16th to the 27th. It’s currently the festival’s 65th anniversary and it’s promotion poster was dedicated to Marilyn Monroe. The entire event is invitation only and is a great place for movies to be picked up by major production companies. It’s also a great place to see what the stars are wearing.
