Lichtenstein’s Power of Pop

“Roy Lichtenstein: A Retrospective” opens at the Art Institute of Chicago, May 16 . A Retrospective features more then 160 works of the influential American artist and can be seen until September 3, 2012. This monumental exhibition captures the power of Pop with new works that are as fresh and revolutionary as they were 50 years ago! With the global sponsorship of Bank of America, Roy Lichtenstein is poised to be on of the most defining Pop moments in the United States.

Roy Lichtenstein: A Retrospective will travel to the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. (October 14, 2012-January 6, 2013); the Tate Modern, London (February 21-May 27, 2013); and the Centre Pompidou in Paris (July 3-November 4, 2013).
