Man-Up Monday: Top it Off

Top of the morning to ‘ya! We found this great article in the Wall Street Journal fashion section about the good ‘ol top hat! Steve Garbarino talks about the decline in the top hat and I have wondered the same exact thing! It’s usually only used for “costume” purposes or a prop in some movie, but why? The top hat was a symbol of status in through much of the 19th century, then was made popular by musicians like Bob Dylan and John Lennon. What will it take to make the top hat fashionable again? Maybe by chance Justin Timberlake or Ryan Gosling will read this and decide to bring it back? I highly doubt it, but in the mean time, check out the article in the WSJ and decide for yourself! Should top hats be brought back, or left on the shelf?
