A Look At Zac Posen’s Pre-Fall 2012 Collection

Zac Posen’s pre-fall collection is stunning, to say the least. It includes gorgeous ball gowns made of velvet and structured pieces for a night out. Posen describes his collection as “American royalty takes a trip east”, and this is seen with his use of European couture shapes with Eastern fabrics to create a unique and classic look. You can tell by looking at the collection that it was influenced by the fifties, and Posen has remarked that to be one of the sources of his inspiration.
