The British are Coming: TopShop on Michigan Ave.

 

It’s a British invasion on Michigan Ave as TopShop opens its second flagship store to the public Thursday, September 8. TopShop and TopMan’s brave and irreverent approach to style has captured the imaginations of the British and now it’s time for the brand to take on Chicago. There is something for everyone with several different designer collaborations and collections at a variety of prices (Kate Moss did a collection for them in 2007). To mark the occasion in style, the opening festivities include a runway show featuring Brit-inspired looks for Fall/Winter 2011 and a ceremonial ribbon cutting with Arcadia Group’s Owner, Sir Philip Green.
