White After Labor Day

 

We’ve all heard that we’re not allowed to wear white after Labor Day. I’m here to tell you that’s a lie. Though once considered a fashion faux pas, wearing white in the winter is always chic — especially if you keep things monochromatic. The key to pulling off this sophisticated look is the textile — avoid breezy linens and soft cottons, opting instead for dreamy cashmeres, heavy twills and warm wools.
