In or Out: Collared Necklaces

Are collared necklaces in or out? I happen to think that they are very much in. I happened across this recent fall trend on Fashionologie and I kind of fell in love. The trend is very popular this fall and has been seen on the runway for Lanvin, Louis Vuitton as seen above, and Chanel. Even Anna Wintour, Editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine, was seen wearing one at the Costume Institute Gala this year, along with Zoe Saldana and Margherita Missoni. The collars very in style from Peter Pan to tuxedo. So what do you think? Is this trend in or out?
