Oprah Visit’s Ralph Lauren

 

As Oprah counts down her final shows, this past Wednesday’s episode sure didn’t disappoint.  The iconic Ralph Lauren sat down for the first time to interview with Oprah at his amazing Colorado ranch.  Wife Ricky and children Andrew, David, and Dylan all dressed in RL, joined the interview and talked about growing up in the Lauren household.  Andrew is currently a film producer, while David is Vice President of Advertising, Marketing, and Corporate Communications at Ralph Lauren. 

 

Daughter Dylan, who owns Dylan Candy Bar in New York is expected to wed next month.  Set to wear a gown by none other than Ralph Lauren himself, just talking about the experience designing his daughter’s wedding gown brought the designer to tears.  We can expect this to be the next most talked about wedding gown of the year. 

 

Beginning as a teenager making ties, Ralph Lauren has worked his way to the top.  When asked how he went from designing fashion to home furnishings, Ralph Lauren stated “I’m not about fashion, I’m about living.”  Ralph Lauren is the biggest selling designer of all time.
