Thursday Street Style: Jogging Suits & Jeans in Palm Springs

Last
week I took a mini holiday to Palm Springs to escape Chicago’s cold
weather. I love the snow-capped mountains and the beautiful orange and
grapefruit trees. Yes, I agree that there are lots of retired older
people that golf or play tennis five days a week, wearing jogging suits
and clothes that I would pass on to the local Salvation Army. But, I
did find some great looking people at unexpected places like the flea
market, restaurants, art galleries, and vintage hotels like the Viceroy
that was featured in Vogue magazine with Kate Hudson. Lots of former
Chicagoans seeking the sun also. Like most places in the country there
is the cool crowd and the ones that find life just plain boring...
