‘Cliche’ at the Museum of Contemporary Art

IMG_0980.jpg

It was a cold, cold night in Chicago but it was hot, hot, hot inside the Museum Of Comtemporary Art’s monthly First Fridays event named Cliche. Over 1700 people gathered to hear music from the local DJ’s, nibble on Wolfgang Puck’s appetizers and experience the  iMac G5 digital dating bar among other activities. Of course, being happily married, I was there just to see the fashions and take a long peek at the amazing art exhibit called “ITALICS.”  (I promise to show you some of my favorite images from the show later)  And what was the signature look of the evening on most of the women? You guessed it….the color black which I told you worked best for the Thanksgiving Day holiday on my video. Let’s face it, black is the perfect color for any ocassion. I did think the one dress that was a standout in the crowd was silver. And some of the guys in the crowd were equally creative.
